My artistic objective was to capture the subtle nuances that arise from variations in light temperature, and in particular, how these variations subtly influence the overall impact of the subject. To achieve this I utilised different light sources that symbolically represented the conflicting thoughts and emotions within my composition. Through the careful manipulation of warm light, I was able to instill a sense of comfort and forgiveness, thus fostering an inviting atmosphere. In contrast by incorporating cold lights, I purposefully conveyed a sense of underlying hostility, melancholy, and unease. By skillfully juxtaposing these contrasting elements, I was ultimately able to elevate my artwork to greater depths, provoking a plethora of emotions.
